What is the Fleks Insights Module? The Fleks Insights Module provides an overview of your achieved results, based on data from Fleks Planning.
With the Insights Module, you can:
- Gain insights per month, year, or specific period.
- View results by project, client, or employee.
- Check compliance with the Working Hours Act (ATW), such as average hours worked over 4 or 16 weeks.
- Access important data, such as birthdays.
With this information, you can strategically plan, identify trends, and make decisions based on detailed planning data.

The Fleks Insights Module allows you to easily gain insights into achieved results based on your Fleks Planning. It provides valuable information on planned hours, projects, employees, and more. The module is designed for organization administrators (admins) and can be accessed via app.insights.fleks.works.

Step-by-Step Guide: Getting Started with Fleks Insights
Step 1: Request an Account
- Request an account via Fleks.
- Once approved, you’ll gain access to the Insights Module, linked to your existing Fleks Planning environment.
Step 2: Log in to the Fleks Insights Module
- Visit app.insights.fleks.works.
- Log in using your Fleks account.
Step 3: View Your Desired Overview
- Upon logging in, the module opens by default with a yearly overview of achieved results for the current year, grouped by month.
- To choose a different overview:
- Click to the left of the filter icon to select another preset (see the list of presets below).
- Alternatively, create a custom overview by using specific filters and groupings.
Available Presets
Fleks Insights offers various standard presets ready for immediate use:

Yearly Overview
An overview of all valid schedules, grouped by month. Default filter: current year. -
Project Overview
Insights into ongoing projects for the current month, including the employee with the most hours worked. -
Client Overview
A summary of clients with the most scheduled hours for the current month. -
Employee of the Year
Highlights the employee with the most scheduled hours in the current year. -
No-Shows This Year
Displays schedules per employee with a "No-show" status. -
Sick Leave
Lists schedules per employee marked as "Sick." -
Activity in the Last 7 Days
Shows which planners and employees were active in the last 7 days. -
Eager to Work
Employees who frequently signed up via the mobile app and were accepted. -
Peak Days
Highlights the workdays with the highest hours worked during the current year.
Creating Custom Overviews
In addition to presets, you can create custom overviews:
- Choose specific groupings, such as hours per role or per employee.
- Focus on a specific period, e.g., the last 4 weeks instead of an entire month.
- Check hour limits, such as the number of hours worked per client per month (for freelancers, DBA compliance).
Pro Tip: Switch between "start date" (when the employee worked) and "created on" (when the shift was added) to gain different insights, such as:
- Start Date: For an overview of actual hours worked.
- Created On: To see when your organization was most active in scheduling or when employees frequently signed up.
